March 29

Today is the day we submitted an offer on a new home!  The sellers have until noon Friday to respond to the offer.  I am so excited to finally have peace about something "locked in".  Psalm 138 and the last half of Deuteronomy 8 has been such a comfort to me this week.  Part of my trial of faith has been hesitation to accept something so much bigger, newer, fancier than any place we've lived in our married life.  So with scripture and timing, God has reassured me.  We will probably get to tour the house again along with the children this afternoon.  Once the contract has been accepted by the sellers, I will share photos!  Thanks for standing by!

  2. Hello! We have never met ... I ended up on your blog from a friend of a friend ... :D

I love what you shared about Psalms 138, epecially vs. 8! "The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me!" This verse came to me on a very dark, dreary day...so many disappointments in life and I could hardly see the good in my experience. So, I paused, closed my eyes, prayed, and opened to Psalms 138:8 and while reading those words, a whisper came into my heart, 'Remember, you are loved beyond measure.' We are so loved!

Just a good reminder that ...We prove our trust in Him as we leave all in our Father's hands. His promise to us is Romans 8:28 - All things work together for good ... Sometimes it is hard to see the good in an experience, but it is there, maybe not so much for the person in the experience; perhaps more so for those looking on the faithful life!

I hope and pray everything works out in a way you find peace and happiness in your new home!
